Ed Sheeran – Photograph Chords

“Photograph” is a staple track by Mr. Ed Sheeran, released on the man’s second album – 2014’s “×” (pronounced “multiply”). The song was written by the man himself, along with Johnny McDaid of the Snow Patrol.

For the most part, this mellow ballad features acoustic guitar, piano, and programmed drums in the instrumental forefront. The lyrics tell a story of a long-distance relationship inspired by Ed’s own experience of being away from his girlfriend while touring.

“Photograph” received universally positive reactions from the critics, who praised the lyrics and Sheeran’s use of imagery. The song was the fifth and final single from the album, entering the Top 5 on the main singles charts in five countries around the globe.

It peaked at No. 10 position in the US and it became the third single from the album to reach the Big 10. In the UK, it went up to No. 15 and has been certified platinum.
